CIOC 2009 - China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference
07/11/2009 - 08/11/2009 - Shangri-La Hotel - Guangzhou (China)The DCE and Bursa Malaysia Berhad have agreed to jointly host the China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference (CIOC) regularly . Through the meetings the two exchanges aim to help participants forecast the development trend of the world oils and oilseeds industry in the context of economic globalization. The CIOC provides a platform and channel for the global oils and oilseeds enterprises to cooperate with each other in China's market. The meeting will be held in the context of the global industry integration, re-allocation of resources, and a new pattern of supply and demand. In particular, the palm oil futures contract to be listed in DCE will provide a hot topic of discussion. The meeting will provide a venue for the members of the oilseed industry to share their views on the illustrate a clear direction outlooks of prices, relevant policies and an opportunities to hear views from a few noted industry observers. 450 people, will attend the meeting and officials from the Chinese government agencies, domestic and international business leaders, representatives from commodity exchanges and investment community, experts from the oilseed industry, leaders of renowned enterprises, and industry analysts, will also attend the meeting.
